Providence Presbyterian Church is currently seeking applications for the position of Senior Pastor. We are doing so through the Pastoral Search Committee (PSC) which is composed of eleven church members, two of which currently sit on the Session as elders and one who serves as a deacon.

Kristen Bredemeyer
Kristen was born and raised in West Texas. Despite spending her teenage years telling her parents that she would never ever live in Lubbock, she has happily lived here the last 10 years with her husband Ryan and three children and is here to stay. As a homeschool mom, she co-founded Lubbock Classical Tutorial. Kristen spends her life pouring into her passions of family, classical education and Providence PCA through her dedication to the city she loves.

Vanessa Dalton
Hi! I am married to one of our elders, Jeremy Dalton. We take great joy in working together as pediatricians for Covenant Medical Group here in Lubbock. We have six children, ages 5 to 14, who keep us busy participating in ballet and local children’s orchestra. When I’m not working or driving my kids to their activities I like to cook, read, and run (ideally with one of our dogs but they both can be a little lazy)!

Peter Griffith
Peter was born in Texas City, Texas and grew up down on the Texas Gulf Coast. Peter and his bride, Anne, moved to Lubbock about 30 years ago to start his insurance agency. Peter serves on the Session at Providence Church. While he loves the ‘rustic beauty’ of the West Texas landscape he loves the good-hearted people even more. Peter and Anne have three children: a son Peter Jr. and his wife Sara, a daughter Libby and another son named Sam. They are also very thankful to have the two cutest grandchildren in the State of Texas.

Chris Kramedjian
Chris Kramedjian and wife Della met through the RUF internship program, where both learned to love the Church and its mission. They have enjoyed membership at Providence Presbyterian since Chris' work in the cotton industry brought the family to Lubbock in 2016. Chris and Della volunteer wherever they can as they also parent their four wonderful children.

Larry LaFreniere
It's my joy to serve Providence Presbyterian (since 2006) as a Sunday School teacher and Community Group host. My wife Susan and I celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary next March. We have 3 adult children (2 are married) living in Lubbock. My career began as an Air Force pilot and I've been a network and cable-telecom leader for more than 30 years. I also graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Jason Mulkey
After a brief and adventurous stint in the southeast, Jason settled in West Texas 14 years ago to operate a Chick-fil-A with his brother. They have since ventured into an additional family business restoring vintage 4X4 vehicles. He is a born storyteller and is always willing to share a good yarn. Jason loves to hunt, cook, host, and encourage fellowship with the help of his wife, Rebecca, and their four children. He has been a member of Providence PCA for nearly 12 years and loves the people and community here.

Rachel Myers
Rachel Myers grew up and met her husband Levi in Texas, but they went off to college in Virginia before returning back to Texas in 2013. She has the pleasure and privilege of teaching Sunday school to PPC's 2nd and 3rd graders, as well as helping with financial administration. The Myers also host a Community Group and Levi serves as a deacon. They have five children who love PPC and West Texas as much as their parents! Rachel also works for an incredible family out here in Lubbock, which brings her much joy.

Petie Nicholson
My given name is Angela but I have been called by a nickname, “Petie”, given to me by my father, all my life. I have been married to Tom for 57 years and we have three sons and one daughter and eleven grandchildren. Our oldest son, Brian, his wife, Alison, and five of our grandchildren have shared a pew with us at Providence for 10 years. I serve on the Hospitality Committee and Women’s Ministry.

Tom Sell
Tom Sell has been a member of PPCA since 2007 and has served on the Session since 2016. He is married to Kyla and has four children — one recently married and the other three college and high-school aged. Tom is a lawyer, and has an active lobbying practice building on work he had done in his early career in Washington, DC. Tom also farms and ranches and volunteers his time in various community and charitable organizations.

Matthew Smith
Matthew moved to Lubbock to pursue a music degree at Texas Tech University and now proudly calls West Texas home. He works for a software company and spends his free time playing with his kids and tackling home improvement projects. His greatest accomplishment was convincing Allison to marry him.

Valerye Sweatt
Valerye originally hails from Mississippi but she, her husband, and 3 young children moved to Lubbock almost 2 years ago and are proud to call West Texas home. Her husband Davis is the RUF Campus Minister at Texas Tech University. Val has passion for seeing Gods kingdom expand through young people. She loves pouring into the Youth at Providence and RUF students when she’s not busy changing diapers of her 3 year old, 20 month old and 4 month old!
