  • Banner of Truth — The Banner of Truth Trust originated in 1957 in London. Journalistic humility for us means trying to give God’s perspective. … We cover all aspects of the news: national, international, and cultural; politics and business; medicine, science, technology, and sports. … But what matters the most is this: We believe in a God who tells the truth and wants us to do the same.”

Persecuted Church

  • Open Doors — Open Doors works in the world’s most oppressive countries, strengthening Christians to stand strong in the face of persecution and equipping them to shine Christ’s light in these dark places. One of the greatest challenges to Christians living under tyranny and oppression is isolation – from God’s word and from the body of Christ. Where other Christian organizations cannot enter or have been forced to flee by oppressive governments or cultures, Open Doors can be found – supplying Bibles, training Christian leaders, developing Christian communities and ensuring prayer, presence and advocacy for these suffering believers.
  • Voice of the Martyrs — The Voice of the Martyrs is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide. VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ.

  • Pray the Bible — An online edition of Matthew Henry’s method for prayer. Praying scripturally will teach us what prayer is, even while we do it, it will correct “shopping list” views of prayer which abound in the Christian community, and it will begin to solve in our own minds the question of “unanswered prayer.”
